COLUMBUS, Ohio-July 15, 2009-GSW Worldwide, an inVentiv Health company NASDAQ: VTIV and one of the largest healthcare advertising agencies in the world, recently announced nine new appointments to its Ohio and New York offices.

Tera Harmon has been named senior editor for the Ohio office. Prior to GSW, Harmon worked for The McGraw-Hill Companies as project leader. Before that, she served as production service sales representative for Kreber Graphics. Harmon holds a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University.

Cara Kaput also joins the Ohio office as medical writer. Previously, she served in an internship position at Meijer Pharmacy. Before that, Kaput worked for Children's Hospital as research assistant. She holds a doctorate degree from The Ohio State University.

The following associates join the New York office:

Mark Allen has been named vice president, associate creative director. Prior to GSW, Allen served as vice president, creative director for Digitas Health. Previously, he worked for Ogilvy Healthworld as vice president, art supervisor. Allen holds a bachelor's degree from California State University.

Brooke Barrier has been named copy supervisor. Prior to joining GSW, she served as senior copywriter for DraftFCB Healthcare. Previously, Barrier worked for Cline Davis & Mann as senior editor. She holds a master's degree from Medill School of Journalism.

Christina Blosser has been named senior vice president, new business development. Previously, she worked for DraftFCB Healthcare as vice president, group account supervisor. Before that, Blosser served as account supervisor for Euro RSCG Life. She holds a bachelor's degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Meghan Carey has been named senior art director. Previously, she worked for DraftFCB Healthcare as art director. Before that, Carey served as associate information designer for GSW. She holds a bachelor's degree from Parsons School of Design.

Galo Erazo has been named vice president, associate creative director. Before joining GSW, Erazo served as vice president, associative creative director for Ogilvy Healthcare. Previously, he worked for Cline Davis & Mann as vice president, art group supervisor. Erazo holds a bachelor's degree from St. John's University.

David Martin has been named account director. Prior to GSW, Martin served as account supervisor for KPR. Previously, he worked for Euro RSCG Life MetaMax as senior account executive. Martin holds a bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University.

Michael Shiner has been named project manager. Before joining GSW, he served as director of traffic for EURO RSCG Life. Previously, Shiner worked for Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Advertising as associate director of project management. He holds a bachelor's degree from New York University.
