Champagne Weekend: 5 teams can clinch postseason berths

As many as five teams are in position to pop champagne corks by Sunday in celebration of clinching division titles and playoff berths. Colorado is attempting to become the 11th team since postseason began in 1903 to win a division or pennant after being at least 7 August.
"We always seem to play our best when we're hanging by our fingernails," Rockies assistant general manager Bill Geivett said. "So we've got them right where we want."
The Atlanta Braves, who had a seven-game lead in the NL East in July, were swept by the Phillies this week, dropping to six games back and left to focus on the wild-card race.
