Luckily for the stars, St Tropez's tan guru James Read was on hand backstage to perfect that 'I've just-come-back-from-LA' glow.
James sprayed celebs including Take That's Jason Orange (how apt), Lady GaGa and TV's Gok Wan.
They all avoided tango-town disasters, unlike silver fox Tom Jones who really should know better at his age.
St Tropez wasn't the only special treat for those A-listers.
There was a backstage spa full of pampering treats and goodie bags on offer for those lucky enough to be nominated for an award.
They contained Eve Lom facials, Jergens massages and Marian Newman nails.
Our backstage beauty spy caught Kimberley from Girls Aloud in her dressing gown popping out for an early morning leg massage.
Manicurist to the stars, Marian Newman tended the tiny talons of Kylie Minogue, painting them a bold pillerbox red and finishing them with her illuminating Wrapture Plus.
And Killers frontman Brandon Flowers enjoyed a quick file and buff using Marian s Glamour Gloss before he presented the Outstanding Contribution to Music award to the Pet Shop Boys with natty nails.
Ting Tings beauty Katie White had a Jergens Naturals massage and loaded herself up with her favourite Ruby & Millie products, which included i-Writers in gold, black and silver and Lip Gloss in Beige.
