Physical therapy schools for natural healing train students to become licensed physical therapists and provide training and education for physical therapy aids, assistants and rehabilitation therapists. Students learn to apply natural healing techniques to help alleviate pain and increase mobility.

Physical therapy school curriculum includes instructional coursework relating to basic science (biology, chemistry and physics; notwithstanding biomechanics, human growth, neuroanatomy, etc.), classroom, lab and clinical instruction and experience; in addition to continuing education courses.

Individuals who wish to become physical therapists must successfully attain a post baccalaureate degree from an accredited physical therapy school educational program, and pass a national examination to obtain their state license.

There are currently over 200 accredited physical therapy school programs in the United States; of which, nearly 100 of programs offered a master degree, and the other offer doctoral degrees.

Successful candidates who complete and graduate from physical therapy school have an excellent career outlook. According to the US Department of Labor, physical therapy profession is anticipated to "…grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2014." 1 Physical therapists can expect median earnings over sixty thousand dollars per annual.
