Free Health Care for Everyone - Or Only the Responsible People

The problem with the idea of Free Health Care for every citizen is that many people who do not bother to take care of themselves will wish to partake in the system at the expense of all us Taxpayers who do. Of course, the analysts note that if we start getting too picky as to who can receive the free health care or who is eligible then the free health care initiatives will never be implemented.
Oh yes, I totally agree with these expert analysts, and I guess my point is the system will not be fair for those who take care of themselves paying for those who don't. This is exactly socialism, stealing from the productivity of the doers, stealing from the rich giving to the poor and rewarding those who do not perform.
The real problem with Socialism or Liberalism and the resultant of political correctness, is that it makes it "SO FAIR" for everyone that the system fails and thus is "not fair for anyone! Thus, my comment about being fair of course is impossible. If we have Free Health Care it will have to be for Everyone, not just the Responsible People.
In that case, I do not wish to have it; I want to opt out and not pay those additional taxes, nor do I want the services. Thus the system is not based in reality or fair for all concerned, socialism never is; we cannot afford this.
Of course if we could figure out a way to give discounts or tax incentives to joggers, walkers, those who work out, eat right, do not smoke and only drink red wine in moderation; but you can see how this health care give away could lead the nation to financial ruin?
If people were not expecting it, then they would act more responsible with more; personal character, responsibility and productivity. Look my thoughts are if you participate in our civilization's productivity, then you should be compensated and reap the benefits. I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007.
