HUMAN RESOURCES AND TRAINING IN  MENTAL HEALTH All area codes are 850 unless specified

Sacred Heart Hospital
The following classes will be held at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. To register, call 278-3600 or toll-free (877) 416-1600 unless noted.
Weight loss surgery: Dr. Jeffrey Lord will present "Weight Loss Surgery: Is It Right for You?" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 28 in Suite 3 of the Resource Center at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. Reservations recommended.
Breastfeeding class: Breastfeeding 101 will be held at 6 p.m. May 5 in the education room on the second floor of the Family Birth Place. The cost is $10 per expectant mom. Registration required.
Diabetes support group: The group will meet at 4:30 p.m. May 8 in the hospital's Resource Center Suite 1 education classroom. Physician referral not required to attend. To join, call Jenny Stuckey at 278-3683.
Safe Sitter: The nationally recognized program will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 9 in the education classroom at the Family Birth Place. Registration required.

Blood drives
The Northwest Florida Blood Center will hold blood drives at Point Washington Methodist Church, 12909 County Rd N in Santa Rosa Beach, from 12 to 3:30 p.m. April 26 and at South Walton High School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28.
May 28: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Colonial Bank in Destin and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 29 at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast.

Seminar
Dr. Nitin Bawa will present a seminar on supplements and hormones that help brain function on May 13. Call 534-4170 for location and times.
