Many people in this world are searching for the best way to lose weight. Everyone seems to want the next great diet. The dictionary defines a diet as: such a selection or a limitation on the amount a person eats for reducing weight. So that's what everyone does. They try to reduce the amount that they eat, in order to lose weight. The problem with this philosophy is that they don't change anything else. They assume that simply changing the type or amount of food will change what they weigh. In most cases, this doesn't work.

The greatest diet ever conceived of is eating right and mixing in a little exercise. I'm not referring to eating only tofu and running 6 miles a day. No not at all. I'm referring to eating the right things and mixing in a little exercise. A little exercise could easily be a walk around the block. Seriously, that's exercise, and it will help you lose weight. And do you know what else will happen? You will soon want to walk a little further.

And what about eating right? Eating right doesn't have to mean ordering your food from some company who will send it to you. Eating right doesn't mean that a person has to munch on carrots all day. Eating right simply means eating right. At the end of the day we all know what eating right means. Eating at McDonald's four times a week isn't eating right. Having six or eight beers after dinner isn't eating right. Sucking down Ho-Ho's like their going out of style isn't eating right. We all know what eating right is.

The bottom line is that the greatest diet ever conceived of is simple. Just eat right and exercise a little. You don't have to become Tony Little, simply eat right and exercise and you can lose as much weight as you would like. Hell, you can even eat Subway sandwiches if you like, just look at that tool Jared. I think Bill Toomey said it best when he said, "As I mentioned previously, the tools that allow for optimum health are diet and exercise." That's it folks, the greatest diet ever conceived of.
