Obesity is a sickness, which is more harmful than many cancers and other severe disease. Obese people should not be ridiculed and made fun of; rather they should be taken care off. Till some time ago, staying hungry under some stupid diet plan or sweating excessively in a fitness center was the only solution to reduce weight. But in present, the scenario has changed. Medical science has come up with various weight reducing drugs in the market. For this modern day problem, they invented a modern day solution. It's called the 'diet pills'.

Didrex is the most popular and the most recommended diet pill in the United States. It is used along with healthy diet and routine exercise schedule. It is an appetite suppressant, which aids people to control their appetite and approve a healthier lifestyle. Didrex can be an appropriate medication for those who want to reduce more and more weight in shorter period of time. It's a medication, which is considered the best because it acts with the body and its metabolism for reducing weight. It is a diet suppressant and as well as a metabolic stimulant. This drug is best suitable for the short-term treatment of exogenous obesity. It is not advisable for a long-term use because it is a habit-forming drug. But still it is not the pill having supernatural power, which will cut down excessive fat involuntarily. It will work outstandingly when it is taken in combination with a healthy balanced diet and an honestly followed exercise routine. Didrex is the brand name for benzphetamine. It falls under the category of an anorectic drug. It is known as an appetite suppressant. Benzphetamine is a sympathomimetic amine with pharmacologic activity similar to the prototype drugs of this class used in obesity. The actions of amphetamines includes stimulation of central nervous system and elevation of blood pressure. Tachyphylaxis and tolerance have been demonstrated with all drugs of this class in which these phenomena have been looked for.

This drug didrex works by reducing the hunger wrench or the aspiration to eat unnecessarily and without need. It allows the body to feel full and not allowing the feeling of hunger to arise. This results in less eating and therefore lower intake of calories and hence the reduction in weight. Didrex also helps in another way, and that is by increasing the metabolism. This way the consumption of calories is much higher than usual. One pill of didrex should be taken empty stomach daily with a full glass of water. This medicine is usually advised for 8-12 weeks use. It is advised not to take this drug more than what is prescribed by your doctor as it is a very sensitive in habit forming and can make you physically or psychologically dependant on it. Do not suddenly stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, if you have been taking it since long. Didrex is not advisable for those who are suffering from any any heart disease, glaucoma, hardening of the arteries and certain other conditions.

The side effects of didrex diet pills are normally same to those of any other weight loss drug. One may experience breathlessness, irregular heartbeat, restlessness, anxiety, nervousness, severe headache, blurred vision etc. Didrex tablets are contraindicated in patients with advanced arteriosclerosis, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, moderate to severe hypertension, hyper-thyroidism, known hypersensitivity or idiosyncrasy to sympathomimetic amines, and glaucoma. Benzphetamine should not be given to patients who are in an agitated state or who have a history of drug abuse.
