The good oil

Oil was to be avoided all through my teenage years; every foaming facial wash promised to banish excess oil from my skin. Then, oil was the bad guy in cooking, with a swift spray of the cooking oil spray giving one Point of Weight Watchers allowance. It's like oil was the pernnial bad guy you had to check labels for and eridate from your skin and diet. Oh how the tables have turned.

Now, of course, we know just how good, "good oils" are. Skincare brands are embracing botanic oils in some beautiful new products that use certified organic and cold-pressed oils to smooth and protect skin from dryness.
