A girl who lives in the heart of Sooner country but pulls for the Oregon Ducks got the trip of a lifetime to see her favorite team play.
Angel Wilson's parents said their daughter was born with cerebral palsy and brain damage that left her unable to talk or walk.
Billy Wilson said his daughter's eyes light up whenever she watches the University of Oregon's football team on television.
During Oregon's Civil War game with rival Oregon State on Thursday, the family got a personal tour of Autzen Stadium and a walk through the Hall of Champions. She also got to go out onto the same gridiron as her beloved Ducks.
"This was great," Billy Wilson said. "We didn't expect to get a tour of everything. It was absolutely a beautiful tour and a beautiful facility, seeing all the trophies and the last time the Ducks went to the Rose Bowl."
The Ducks capped off the night by beating Oregon State and winning another Rose Bowl berth.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this for Angel," Billy Wilson said. "We will never forget what you've done for us and our family."
He said the family will visit other parts of Oregon before coming home on Sunday. Billy Wilson said the family will be Ducks fans for life.
