Dr. Lon W. Castle bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 21 Bristol Lane in Rocky River for $442,000 on June 1.
The 2,200-square-foot house is in The Hamlets of Rocky River in the neighborhood of Rocky River Southwest Dr. Castle, a cardiologist, is a staff electrophysiologist with Cleveland Clinic in Westlake. He is also the head of the Cardiac Device Lab at Lakewood Hospital and Fairview General Hospital.
He also was a medical consultant to the National Football League. He has also been chief of medicine at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas.
He studied pharmacy at Temple University in Pennsylvania and finished medical school in 1965. He completed his internship and residency at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., and his fellowship training in cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic.
There were 290 home sales in Rocky River in 2008, with a median sales price of $180,500.
